Set in the former town hall on the very edge of the Tajo by the Puente Nuevo bridge, this parador has one of the most memorable locations of any Andalucían hotel. While its public areas still suffer from a municipal feel, the rooms are excellent, with comfortable furniture, polished floorboards, plenty of space and big beds. The pricier ones have balconies overlooking the gorge, and it’s hard to beat the hotel pool, which is right on the lip of it.
