This 5-star, beautifully restored Seminary of San Antonio Abad is central and quite simply the best hotel in town for historical interest ; it is worth a visit even if you can’t afford the price tag. Soft Gregorian chants follow you as you wander through the baroque chapel, tranquil courtyards and charming cloisters, admiring the excellent collection of religious paintings. Rooms have all facilities, including cable TV, some even offer an oxygen-enriched atmosphere to help clients acclimatize, for an additional fee of US$40. Staff, who all speak English, are very helpful and attentive. The price includes a great buffet breakfast (available to non-residents) that will fill you up for the rest of the day. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner à la carte. Recommended.
