This hotel was horrible (we were on the top floor)...the food was disgusting (breakfast and lunch buffets). Walls were dirty and had loose electrical plates/plugs. At some point during our stay the wooden numbers outside of our room got broken(not sure how) and the room next to us had its numbers broken so you couldn't tell the room's number. But worst of all was the room just wouldn't cool. We complained and they sent 2 guys to clean the vents...had to wait in the room while they cleaned, hoping they'd finish in time for us to start getting ready for the wedding we were needing to get ready for that evening. The room didn't really cool off much better and we spent the next 2 nights sweating. When we checked out we told the front desk about it and the lady said she could do nothing. We requested to speak with the manager but she said the manager wouldn't be in until 9am (it was 8:30 and we needed to get on the road). She had us fill out a form and said the manager would email us and probably could only offer us a free night when we come back (yeah like we'd want to stay there again). It's been 2 weeks and no one has contacted us. I do not ever care to stay in a HO JO again!!!! I'm completely disappointed in this hotel. Don't stay here, even if the location is good.Beds were uncomfortable too. Requested King size beds but I don't think they have them. So hubbie and I had to sleep in different bed (unromantic). I'm 5'8" and my feet were hanging off the double size bed.
