the three corners Ocean View Hotel in El Gouna was a little disappointing especially as it was meant to be a 4 star hotel.We did not think this rating was warranted and felt a 3 star rating would have been more appropriate. It was in a wonderful picturesque located surrounded by water on three sides. the Marina area of the resort was only a 5 minute safe stroll away. The staff did their utmost and the room was adequate with very good air conditioning, a television and a mini fridge. We were not able to obtain a room with a balcony, We suspect a large tip would have swung it but we were not prepared to go down that route. The dining room was very basic and was like a large school hall. A large percentage of the food was pre prepared and we have strong suspicions that is was what gave us both stomach upset. This seemed a common theme running through the guests staying at this hotel. Speaking to guests at other hotels in the resort of El Gouna it was not so common where they were staying.
