The Manager at the hotel, Dave Brown was so rude and verbally abusive that I did not end up staying there. I asked him one question, he was pretty rude, after question #2 he flew into a rage. He yelled and told me that it was my problem that I couldn't understand (I am from California; English is my first language and I am college (UC Berkeley/UCSB) educated. I can only imagine how foreign travelers are treated by this horrible person)! I have honestly never been spoken to like that from anyone in any type of customer service. Apparently with this hotel there isn't any.When I called the customer service number for Travelodge, they told me I could only file a complaint if I had been a guest there. AND if I had been a guest and filed a complaint it would be sent to the manager so that he could handle the situation...that would be an endless loop! I will never stay at any Travelodge in San Luis Obispo or anywhere else. After reading the other reviews it is probably for the best- sounds like a miserable hotel.
