Rooms with a great view over old Quebec.
The Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City is a great place to stay while visiting Quebec. This place is immense and truly a historic treasure. The gothic towers are visible from anywhere in the city. It is central to the upper and lower parts of the town and the funicular is right outside the entrance. There is a nice little boardwalk area where you can stroll and catch some fantastic views of the lower city and of the river. There are fabulous restaurants, shops and historical sites all well within walking distance to the hotel. It is a bit expensive, in the region of $200 and upwards per night.
